Orthoceras Pendant Necklace 925 Sterling Silver
Orthoceras Pendant Necklace 925 Sterling Silver
This pendant is made of Ancient Greek Fossilized Orthoceras and hand wrapped in 13 gauge sterling silver wire. An Orthoceras fossil is the preserved, cone-shaped shell of an extinct straight-shelled cephalopod, an ancestor of modern-day squid and nautiluses, that lived in ancient oceans hundreds of millions of years ago. These fossils, often found in dark limestone or shale and sometimes polished for display, contain internal chambers and a central tube called a siphuncle that controlled the animal's buoyancy.
Size: 1 1/2" x 5/8".
They are all unique and handmade by me. I ensure that I only use real stones, therefore, each stone and silver wrap is a unique piece of artwork, no two pieces are alike. They are all unique and handmade by me. Silver chain not included.
