Carnelian Agate Pendant Necklace 925 Sterling Silver

This pendant is made of Carnelian Agate and hand-wrapped in 13 gauge sterling silver wire.

Carnelian, a vibrant variety of chalcedony and microcrystalline quartz, ranges in fiery orange-red to brown-red hues with a waxy luster. Traced back to artifacts from 1800 BC Crete, it was valued across cultures: the Romans saw it as a symbol of courage, ancient Egyptians used it in mummification rituals and as a marker of status, and it adorned cameos believed to ward off insanity and depression. Today, carnelian is thought to boost creativity, self-esteem, energy, and motivation, while combating inadequacy and insomnia.
