Blue Lace Agate Handmade Stone Pendant Wrapped in Silver

This pendant is made of African Blue Lace Agate and hand-wrapped in 12 gauge sterling silver wire.

Blue Lace Agate is a variety of banded Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family. It is usually banded in layers of predominantly light blue, striped with brighter blues, whites, and even brown threads of color. Agate is sometimes called the earth rainbow because, in its various forms, the concentric bands in nature form nearly every color the earth can produce, including a colorless form.

Blue lace agate is considered a relaxing stone or the "Stone of Communication. " It makes people feel more confident and articulate—good for public speaking. Sometimes called the "Stone of the Diplomat," it keeps words clear of anger. Blue lace agate has a lower vibration frequency and is therefore considered a stabilizing gemstone—either worn as jewelry or carried as a calming stone.
